Legislature may go after ‘payday loans’ (KRQE Albuquerque)
SANTA FE — A measure introduced in the New Mexico House of Representatives aimed to limit the fees collected on payday loans. Democratic Representative Patty Lundstrom of Gallup says the measure is a consensus proposal that would address concerns both from lenders and consumer advocates.
